Web Cam Max Review

So I was looking for some software to use with my webcam and tripped over two main ones that I thought had promise. The first was ManyCam which costs $50 and seems fairly good. And then there is WebCamMax which can be found http://www.webcammax.com. I figured why not give it a try. Then I would know a couple of things. Which is the stronger program Web Cam or Many Cam. I feel its fair to draw a connection between the two. Well first off, I loved how much of Web Cam Max is available from the start. There are plenty of filters that can be applied to the cam and your output picture is great. If you would used this in something like a google hangout you would be at a clear advantage compared to the build in features of g+. Moving on I was impressed at the accuracy of applying your camera to a background. Here Web Cam Max performs very well. There is a LOT of content that can be unlocked with pro version. And by the looks of the site you can probably get a decent discount most of the time. This is where Many Cam seems to fall off in comparison. Web Cam Max is able to input other video sources or video which is good for running something in the back when you might be off screen or to play a clip or something that you had made before hand. I also wanted to say that the interface is easy to change quickly. I feel like the developers created took some cues from working with an application like photoshop with layers added to the program. It was very easy to apply one effect and then another on top and then either remove the first on or change to another one very quickly. The input options, the filters, the application is easy to use and something that I can see myself using into the future. Especially if the developer gives me a freebie for posting my humble thoughts. Overall I would say if you have the bucks, give them to them. The additional features that you get with the full version are well worth it. I look forward to hopefully getting access to all of the filters and backgrounds that are offered with the pro version. The other biggest feature that I wanted to mention is the ability this program gives to streaming to something like xsplit. I stream and will use it to stream.
